A strong rumour has emerged that Apple’s feverishly anticipated iPhone 5 is set to be released as early as September this year. Many had previously assumed 2012 would be the year the iPhone 5 would make its entrance; this new rumour seems to pour cold water on that.

– Google’s latest operating system for tablets PCs, Android 3.0 Honeycomb, will have a minimum hardware requirement of 1280 x 800 screen resolution as well as front and back cameras.
It has been rumoured for a while now that Google’s latest operating system for tablet PCs, Android 3.0 Honeycomb, would come with minimum hardware requirements. - HTC confirm its current batch of handsets will not be getting Sense user interface 3.0
HTC have confirmed that its current range of Handsets will not be getting the anticipated upgrade to its latest Android overlay, Sense 3.0. Revealed via HTC’s Twitter account in response to a customer query, HTC said
“Due to Sense’s hardware requirements, only our newest devices (Flyer, EVO 3D, Sensation) will be able to support it”

- Ofcom tells mobile operators PAC codes must be provided within two hours of request.
Ofcom, the organisation charged with regulating the communications industry in the UK, has ruled that future PAC codes must be provided to a customer immediately over the phone if requested, or within 2 hours by text message. Rumour #1 – The Aluminium Backing
According to the Japanese website Macotakara, quoting an unknown Chinese source, Apple will be making the the back of the iPhone 5 from aluminium, as opposed to the glass material at the back of the current generation of iPhones.
